12 Holy Body Parts: Knee, Thumb, Tongue, "B", Kid, NON, ONi, GOD, #MYWAY, OpenHeart, ?, and Torn A - Part,
are a ramification of the Body = The New Religion project, in which they serve as its saints.
They must bring attention to the repressed parts we have hiding in us. They are surrogates for unintegrated, lost selves, giving them a temporary body through which they can be processed to become whole again.
The pictures below, arranged in chronological order, represent significant turning points at which I came to understand myself and the world more fully.
Those events are both a documentation of my process of individuation and a channel to the "archetypal body", expressing what it is like to be an ancient body of our modern time.

2015 - 2019
This ongoing work is a journey - a scattered pilgrimage across the globe in which each of the 12 Holy Body Parts is honored, commemorated, and released through performative acts.
The body parts, symbols of forgotten, repressed, or fragmented aspects of the self, were placed, activated, and remembered in a wide range of spaces: sacred sites, urban streets, natural landscapes, and intimate thresholds of personal transformation.
Each photograph captures not just a location, but a moment - a silent ritual where these parts were offered visibility and autonomy. No longer hidden, they were allowed to speak, to be held, to be witnessed.
